Once you’ve chosen your property, put in an offer which has been accepted, and you’re about to sign a compromise or presales agreement, what next?

If you speak French and are familiar with the buying process in France then fine. However, if that is not the case then we can put you in touch with reputable English lawyers, who are specialists in this field and who live and work here in France.

Renovation work.  Our builders speak English and will provide you with detailed quotations, plans and progress reports.  We will assist you in your choice of fixtures and fittings.

Furniture acquisition and delivery. We will arrange appointments for you with English speaking assistants or accompany you as interpreters.

Insurance. Quotations can be obtained for car, building and contents insurance.

Bank Accounts.  We have contacts with 2 well-known French banks, both of which have English speaking personal bankers.

Mortgages.  We can put you in touch with 3 excellent mortgage providers with  competitive rates and products and English speaking staff and paperwork.

Property and garden maintenance. We can arrange tailor-made contracts for alarm systems, pool maintenance and regular garden maintenance.

Utilities.  We will arrange the transfer to contracts upon completion for water, gas, electricity and telephone/internet connections.

Satellite TV. Our English installation experts will be pleased to provide you with a tailor-made system to suit your requirements.
